Mushroom Walk with a Scientist

Join us Friday, Nov. 3, from 3-5 p.m. at the Middle Fork Ranger Station (46375 Highway 58, Westfir, OR 97492) to learn more about local mushrooms!
Take a walk with a scientist and learn about the different species of mushrooms that can be found in the Willamette National Forest.
There will be a discovery table where visitors can observe a variety of mushrooms up close under a microscope as well as other family-friendly activities.
Know Before You Go: The walk will be on relatively flat ground with a small hill but come prepared for rain and mud.
Be sure to wear proper footwear and dress in layers.
