December Wetland Wander: Fish of the Middle Fork

Join us for a very special December Wetland Wander!
We will meet at Clearwater Park to walk along the Middle Fork for roughly a mile, while we learn about all the different fish species and habitat types of the Middle Fork from Fish Biologist Matryne Reesman!
We will also be pulling traps set the day before and identify the fish species that we catch!
Those interested in helping retrieve traps can bring their own waders/boots, but we can also provide some to borrow.
WREN’s Wetland Wanders explore a different theme, conservation project, and site in the Eugene/Springfield area on the second Tuesday of the month.
Please bring water, binoculars, closed-toed shoes, and dress for the weather. Walks are free and open to the public. No registration is required.
