Lane County and the Oregon State Marine Board are asking for community input on how best to restore one of the most popular boat launches on the McKenzie River, which was damaged during the 2020 Holiday Farm Fire.
The county and OSMB will host a community meeting 6 p.m. Monday at the McKenzie School gymnasium, 51187 Blue River Dr., so project planners can better understand how to upgrade the Forest Glen boat landing. The popular facility was damaged during the Holiday Farm Fire and, while reopened, hasn’t yet been restored or had infrastructure rebuilt.
