Join McKenzie River Trust on a bus tour of the Willamette Confluence Preserve.
This 1,300 acre preserve features extensive habitats that are endangered in the Willamette Valley and includes six miles of river corridor, floodplain forest, wetlands, upland oak woodlands and native prairie.
During the tours, volunteers and McKenzie River Trust staff will lead visitors around much of the preserves, highlighting the conservation efforts, human history, and natural features.
This tour is intended for people who are unable to walk the four miles typically required for walking tours.
Bring a bag lunch and water, dress for the weather, consider bringing a portable chair if you prefer to sit during outside portions of the tour and binoculars will be great.
