Celebration the Life of Jim Baker

Jim has been a very active advocate for our community.  Of his many accomplishments he was president of the Blue River Community development Corporation, a non profit that helped other community groups raise funds for community  projects.  Under Jim ‘s guidance, the Blue River CDC expanded to cover the entire McKenzie Community from the edge of Springfield up to the headwaters of the McKenzie River.  The organization, now known as McKenzie Community Partnership spearheaded the crisis response to the Holiday Farm Fire.  It’s current and past board members and employees have gone on to spawn multiple organizations and efforts to help make the McKenzie River communities a better place to live.  Jim has made a huge impact during his life.
