East Skinner Butte Walking Tour

Date: Saturday, May 10th (the day before Mother’s Day)
Time: 10:00 am
Where: The tour will start at the front porch of the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House, 303 Willamette Street.
Parking is available adjacent to the house. To get to our parking lot from Shelton McMurphey Blvd., head north on Pearl and then turn west after passing the tall apartment building. Stay to the left and continue driving until you reach our designated parking area. You can park on either side of the SMJ House.
What: The walk will pass through the E. Skinner Butte Historic Landmark Neighborhood. It will take about 90 minutes to walk through and learn interesting facts about this unique location. The pace is slow and easy, but the sidewalks are uneven. Be prepared with comfortable walking shoes.
Walking tour booklets for will be available for purchase at the SMJ House at 303 Willamette Street.
