What: Blue River Drive Design Recommendation – Community Questions & Answers On-Line Sessions
Why: To provide an opportunity to answer questions about the design recommendations for Blue River Drive and prepare people to provide comment at the March 27 TrAC public hearing. (For the hearing, people wishing to comment need to express their opinions within three minutes. More information about the public hearing will be provided early March.)
When: There are two meetings that will cover the same topic.

To prepare for the TrAC public hearing in March, we are holding two on-line question/answer sessions in February.
The dates are:
Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 1:30 to 3:00 PM
Wednesday, February 21, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
The meeting content will be identical. There will be a staff presentation summarizing the process that has occurred over the past year and of the recommended design concepts. The last half-hour of the meetings will be focused on answering any questions you may have.
If you have questions, ask them at the February meetings. If you are not able to attend those, please feel free to reach out to Becky Taylor at becky.taylor@lanecountyor.gov.
The platform of the February 17 and 21 meetings will be MS Teams, so you can get familiar with it, if you’re not already, before the March 27 public hearing.
The purpose of the February Q& A meetings is to prepare for the next step in the process, which is a public hearing before the Lane County Transportation Advisory Committee (TrAC).
The TrAC is a citizen committee appointed by the Board of County Commissioners (BCC). They meet every other month, on the fourth Wednesday, at 5:30 PM.
The next TrAC meeting is March 27, 2024. We are aiming to get the public hearing for the Blue River Drive project on that agenda.
