This year’s Annual Meeting program will include a meet-and-greet with our new state OSWA Executive Director, children’s activities, door prizes, a picnic lunch, updates on state and chapter activities over the past year and our annual board election.

At the heart of our time together will be an opportunity to learn from the Cafferata clan as they share management planning and activities on their Penn Road Family Forest: from culverts to thinning, root rot to bark beetles, fire protection to recreation—plus the conversion of their powerline easements to bird habitat.

At the end of the meeting there will be the opportunity to explore a bit of the property, with two options for a guided walk: one that will be easy walking; and another that will provide a bit more of a challenge.

Please bring: camp chairs, sturdy walking shoes, walking sticks if needed, weather-appropriate layers. Driving directions will be emailed to all registrants after the close of registration on May 12.
