What is Market Night?

Market Night is a one night student marketplace that features original products for sale created by the students of Mr. Culp’s Entrepreneurship/Marketing Class. Each student will have a booth representing their business with their products for sale. All profits earned from sold merchandise will go into a scholarship fund for each student. The Market Night website is hand coded using HTML, CSS and Bootstrap by the students in Mr. Culp’s web design class. A new business website template is created in the Fall every year and then used in the Spring to create the actual business websites. Each web design student is assigned at least one business to create a website. The project requires a large amount of communication and coordination between the Web Design student and Entrepreneurship student.The Market Night website is a great example of project based learning that allows students to have a practical application for skills gained.
