Planning for the Future- Willamette National Forest
May 16, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

The Willamette National Forest has scheduled several workshops to discuss recreation interests and post-fire recovery efforts.
The purpose of these workshops, Planning for the Future: Investing in Willamette National Forest Recreation Sites, is to help inform where the Willamette National Forest should invest resources to maintain developed recreation sites and where to restore access in post-fire landscapes.
You are invited to attend one of the six upcoming workshops.
Your feedback will help inform future investments and the reopening of access to fire-impacted recreation sites.
Where: Middle Fork Ranger District Office, 46375 OR-58, Westfir, OR 97492
When: Thursday, May 16th, 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
If you are unable to attend a workshop in person, the Willamette National Forest will be providing an online link in the coming weeks, so you can share your feedback from home.
The Willamette National Forest manages over 400 developed recreation sites (ranging from trailheads with a sign board along a road to campgrounds with flush toilets and showers) but has limited resources to maintain or improve this infrastructure.
