WELCOME TO THE INAUGURAL RAINBOW RIDGE RUN!
This course is going to blow your mind. Full of big climbs through lush old growth forest. Expansive views from all over but the ones from the tops of Macduff mountain, Horsepasture mountain, and Kings Castle are really crown jewels. Sure to be a true pacific northwest classic race due to the epic terrain on top of old volcanic eruptions that have shaped our outdoor wonderland.
Come out to fill you belly and fill your heart while you search your soul.

A portion of race proceeds will be donated to Bridgeway house. Bridgeway house is a school for kids with autism spectrum disorder. They also provide services for the families of those affected by asd and accompanying diagnosed neurodivergence throughout all of Lane county.

Start from the Upper McKenzie community center. Runners will climb 2600ft to Kings castle summit for world class views of McKenzie River valley as well as high Cascade peaks! The way back is all downhill for a fast and super fun finish!
50k details
After a 15 minute shuttle. Runners start from Olallie north trailhead to Horse Pasture mountain summit. Epic 360 degree views of The Three Sisters wilderness and snowy peaks. Then ride the ridgeline trail past Macduff mountain before a long descent into O’Leary/Castle rock trailhead. Eat up and prepare for your final climb up to Kings castle and even more views. Get your speed legs ready for the 6 mile downhill finish to the community center on beautiful flowing single track through a mossy wonderland! Right around 7,000ft of vert in this pnw epic adventure!
