Wilderness First Aid Course

Do you spend time in the outdoors? Would you know what to do in an emergency when you’re over an hour from medical care?
Wilderness First Aid is a two-day course that prepares you to identify and address medical issues that can arise in remote outdoor settings. It is targeted to the outdoor enthusiast on day trips or short adventures.
This course features multiple learning environments with both classroom time and hands-on outdoor scenarios. Students will learn techniques including soft tissue injury management, hypothermia management, proper splinting and immobilization, and long term patient care with minimal resources.
A valid CPR certification is required for the course, and we will be teaching CPR add-on the evening before the course if needed.
Gain the skills and the confidence to recognize and treat a medical emergency or injury when you’re more than an hour away from medical care.
Course cost: $225/ $275 with CPR add-on.
