Winter Carnival at Hoodoo

The Winter Carnival is the premier event of the season and a day full of free activities.

The lifts are open 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. (lift ticket or season pass required for skiing and riding).

Highlights include special dinner menu, the Dummy Downhill contest, the annual torchlight descent and professional fireworks on the mountain.

Winter Carnival has been a tradition at Hoodoo for 40+ years and includes a number of free events (no lift ticket required):

Ax throwing booth

Frisbee golf

Musical chairs

Three-legged obstacle race

Team tube race

Hula-hoop contest

Fly-athalon

Pie eating contest

Ski javelin throw

Archery contest

Hoodoo employee snow sculpture contest

Bingo
