New Fire Station Symbolizes Growth for Blue River’s Rebuild

Upper McKenzie Rural Fire District Station 2 will house the town’s brand-new fire truck and provide a source of community pride.

The new station replaces the one destroyed by the 2020 holiday farm fire, which burned 173,000 acres and leveled much of the town.

The fire station is the first community resource that has been rebuilt since the fire, symbolizing an important milestone for the community!
