Food Pantry Back Up and Running in Blue River

As part of the transition from emergency assistance to longer-term recovery, the former site of the Blue River Relief Center at the McKenzie School has now reverted to being the storage and distribution site for the local food pantry.

When? – Every second and fourth Friday of the month,  11:00 am to 2:00 pm

If you can’t make those times, please contact Robin Roberts on 541-844-8838 to make alternative arrangements.

Anyone who needs it can come along and get an assortment of essentials such as toiletries, dry and canned foods,  as well as fresh eggs, cheese, meat, milk and other staples.

Due to on-going pandemic precautions, the pantry is still going to be following  COVID-19 safety protocols and guidelines.

This means that clients should stay in their cars and wait for a volunteer to come and speak to them. They will find out your needs and preferences, and then deliver the items to your vehicle!

As usual a huge thank you goes to all the wonderful volunteers that make this happen for the community. And if you’d like to be one of them, the pantry is looking for more people to join, so reach out to Robin if interested.
