Quarantine Waddle September 12

For 7 years the Walterville Grange has been hosting the 5K run/walk/waddle. On September 12 we will continue this tradition – but with a few changes.

But first, how do you register? It’s very, very easy. Just go to the Walterville Waddle Registration Page and fill out the form. This year we are only accepting online registrations. There will be no registering the day of the race.

We are encouraging you to wear a face mask if you can and stay 6’ apart from others not in your group. Let’s keep everyone safe.

Finish Line

The Changes!

  • When you come, you will pick up your own packet at the table. If you’ve ordered a t-shirt, it will be in the envelope along with your bib.
  • People who want to run the course will go first. Winners will be determined by the shortest time it took to complete the course, not by who crosses the finish line first.
  • Each and every person will go, one at a time, through the arch so their number can be scanned and their times accurate. You will start on the Grange building side.
  • We will have bottled water and energy bars for snacks and hand sanitizer for use there.
  • Be sure to get the famous BBQ chicken and corn, only $10, to take out from 11:30 – 2 or until gone.

You can see we have a very special t-shirt this year. Be sure you sign up for one. This will be a fun community event and a good break for everyone. Hope to see all of you there.
