We are hugely proud to announce that the MCP-sponsored Barn-a-Dilly event on the 26th of June, not only drew fans of live music, local food and drink to the valley but also raised $3,500 for the rebuilding of the popular Vida McKenzie Community Center.
Working with our partners the McKenzie River Chamber, Gate Creek Ranch and Caddisfly Concerts, we put on a great show and hopefully lifted spirits as well as raising much-needed funds for worthy community reconstruction projects. Our funding and supporting efforts helped to boost local businesses, attracted folks from as far away as Washington State, built a new stage for future concerts at Gate Creek Ranch, established a reputation for quality entertainment, and promoted a friendly and community-minded atmosphere.
With such a success to build on, we hope to announce more events like this in the near future that bring the community together and raise money for local causes so watch this space for upcoming events!
