We provide Oral Health Services to members of the Oregon Health Plan, working with the State of Oregon and Oregon’s Coordinated Care Organizations.

Capitol Dental Care in coordination with Gentle Dental is pleased to announce the opening of the Gentle Dental Tiny Van Mobile Dental Office to further Capitol Dental’s mission to prevent dental disease and improve overall health.
What is the Lane County Dental Van?
The Gentle Dental Lane County Dental Van (LCDV) is a mobile dental office that will primarily serve the rural communities of Lane County. It provides a state-of-the art dental clinic on wheels that allows us to serve the rural areas of Lane County, Oregon providing access to dental care for some of the most vulnerable Oregonians.
Which rural communities will be served?
Our fully equipped mobile dental office will be scheduled at several community sites each month. Community partnerships are key to this program. Partners allow space to park the mobile clinic and help increase the local communities’ awareness of services. Current host sites include: Options Counseling in Florence, Mapleton Food Share, Orchid @ Blue River, Orchid @ Oakridge, and looking for additional partners.
Who is on the Lane County Dental Van team?
Our dental team includes an Expanded Practice Dental Hygienist, and a Community Health Worker.
What types of insurance are accepted?
• Oregon Health Plan members with Capitol Dental will have access to our services at no out-of-pocket costs.
• We are able to provide dental screenings with fluoride varnish to any community member at no cost and assist with dental plans or needs.

What services are provided?
All services are provided by appointment. Services available include new patient exams, x-rays, intra-oral photos, and an array of preventive services, including dental cleanings for patients of all ages as well as sealants, fluoride, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planning. All information is provided to a dentist via tele-dentistry to review and provide a treatment plan. We also provide dental screenings with fluoride varnish at no cost to any community member.
