FEMA Region 10 office, located in Bothell, Washington oversees federal emergency management for 271 Tribal Nations and the following states:

FEMA’s Individual and Community Preparedness (ICP) program works to strengthen our Nation’s resilience by informing and empowering individuals, organizations, and communities to prepare for any disaster or emergency. The Region 10 ICP team works with state, local, tribal, territorial and non-profit organizations in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Alaska to build a culture of preparedness. The programs documented below are separated into focus areas: Citizen Responder, Youth Preparedness, Capacity Building, Financial Resilience, and Preparedness Actions. Each course, training, and material can be adapted to meet the diverse needs of the audience.

What is the Resource Dashboard?

The FEMA R10 Individual & Community Preparedness Resource Dashboard is a fantastic resource for McKenzie River residents that is based in an online ‘Adobe Connect’ platform which, for those with moderate technical skills, can be a little complicated and daunting. Below is a quick guide to help you access the excellent array of Federal resources including webinars on wildfire & flood preparedness, preparedness resources specifically for seniors, financial preparedness and capacity building advice + much more as well as contacts for the FEMA R10 district representatives.

How to Access the Resource Dashboard:

  1. You will get best results if you use a modern up-to-date computer or laptop with an up-to-date browser such as Chrome + a stable and fast Wi-Fi connection
  2. Go to this link: https://fema.connectsolutions.com/r10communityprep/
  3. Select Guest
  4. Enter your name
  5. Click Enter Room
  6. Click OK to agree to Terms
  7. It can take a while to load the Dashboard so be patient but you will then be taken into the Dashboard interface from where you can access all the preparedness resources FEMA R10 has to offer.
