At this Saturday’s co-operators’ taskforce meeting in Rainbow, Shane Kamarath from the Forest Service shared some information about where residents are able to safely and legally dispose of forest slash debris.
The location for forest debris that is coming from the Forest Service Residence Cabins will be placed on an existing slash pile that is adjacent to the Strube Flat Road and 436 road. You can take unburned and blackened clean branches boughs and limbs but not general fire debris.
